Puri, Sept 18 [UDN}:A spectacular sand art installation was created on the Puri beach to mark the 76th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik crafted a massive 25-foot sand sculpture, turning the shoreline into a special artistic tribute.
The sand artwork was beautifully illuminated with 2,500 traditional earthen lamps, creating a striking visual display along the Puri beach. The installation carried the message “Diyas of Blessings”, symbolising prayers, good wishes and blessings for the Prime Minister on his birthday.
The special artwork attracted considerable attention from visitors and tourists at the beach, becoming one of the major attractions in Puri. The combination of sand art and thousands of glowing diyas added a festive atmosphere to the coastline.
Through the installation, Sudarsan Pattnaik also conveyed prayers to Lord Jagannath for the well-being and long life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The illuminated sculpture, surrounded by 2,500 earthen lamps, presented a unique blend of Odisha’s traditional artistic heritage and a birthday tribute.
The spectacular display at Puri’s seafront has drawn the attention of visitors, with the giant sand sculpture and glowing lamps creating a memorable visual scene on the occasion.
