KotpadAug 25 [UDN}:, People from five flood-affected villages under Kotpad Panchayat Samiti have been safely rescued and evacuated from the affected areas. Following the rescue operation, the residents were shifted to nearby designated flood shelters to ensure their safety and provide them with necessary assistance and basic facilities. The evacuation was carried out as a precautionary measure in view of the prevailing flood situation, with the administration taking prompt steps to protect the lives and well-being of the affected villagers. The relocated people are being provided shelter and essential support at the flood relief centres until the situation improves and it is considered safe for them to return to their respective villages.
