Jharsuguda, Sept 7 [UDN}:): Baban Singh, a teacher and renowned social worker, has received a First Aid Service Certificate in recognition of his remarkable contribution to first aid and public service. He has been engaged in selfless social service for the past 35 years and has received several honours from various organisations.
According to sources from Brajrajnagar, the certificate was presented to Baban Singh, a teacher at Adarsh Vidyalaya, Belpahar, at a special programme organised by the Indian Red Cross Society, Odisha Branch, at the Red Cross Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. The certificate was presented through the Jharsuguda District Junior Red Cross authorities.
Baban Singh was recognised for his notable work in the fields of first aid and public service. For the past 35 years, he has remained actively involved in various social service activities with a spirit of selfless dedication.
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to society, he has previously been honoured by various national and social organisations with several prestigious awards. These include the Rashtra Nirmata Samman, Chitra Bandhu Samman, Mitra Bandhu Samman, Vriksha Bandhu Samman, Distinguished Social Worker Award, and an Honorary Doctorate, among others.
