Tribute Paid to Late Naval Officer During Condolence Meeting Chaired by Bipin Kumar Majhi at Umarkote

Umarkote, May 20:  A condolence meeting was organized in memory of the late naval officer at Umarkote . The meeting was held under the banner of the Utkal Kala Sansad at the club premises, chaired by the president of the organization, Bipin Kumar Majhi.

Members observed a minute of silence for the peace of the departed soul and paid floral tributes to the photograph of the deceased. Speakers at the meeting described the contribution of former naval officer Late G. Gold Skithi as remarkable and unforgettable.

At the end of the meeting, Bipin Kumar Majhi delivered the vote of thanks.

During the program, it was unanimously decided to organize a blood donation camp and plantation drive on June 5 in memory of the late naval officer.

Among those present were former councillor Akshaya Kumar Sahu, former club president Tapan Kumar Das, advocate Narayan Sahu, club treasurer Nakul Chand, Kuna Sahu, Ram Prasad Turuk, club vice-president Sunil Kumar Jena, Pradip Kumar Nayak, Himanshu Biswal, Sudhanshu Biswal, Satyanarayan Das, Pawan Jha, Rabindra Brahma, Likhan Das, Anshuman Patra, Kalia, Dipak Sarkar, and several other members.
