Weather Alert: Heatwave and Thunderstorm Warnings in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, April 5 – The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave alert for Bhubaneswar and several other parts of Odisha over the coming days, with temperatures expected to soar to around 40°C. As the heat intensifies, residents are urged to take necessary precautions to stay safe in the extreme conditions.

In addition to the heatwave, the IMD has also issued an advisory for a thunderstorm in eight districts across the state. The warning comes as Odisha braces for sudden weather changes, which could bring gusty winds, lightning, and rainfall.
