Balangir , Sept 2 [UDN}:A programme for the disbursement of the 5th instalment under the ‘Subhadra’ Scheme was held at the auditorium of Bhim Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Balangir.
Odisha’s Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Mukesh Mahaling, attended the programme and said that the ‘Subhadra’ Scheme is not merely a financial assistance programme, but a new sunrise of self-reliance and empowerment for the women of Odisha.
He highlighted that the scheme represents an important step towards strengthening women’s financial independence and empowering them to play a greater role in their families, communities and society.
