Lahuni Pada, Sept 2 [UDN}:In Lahuni Pada of Sundargarh district, officials from the Legal Metrology Department conducted an inspection at a petrol pump. During the inspection, the officials examined the quality of petrol and also monitored how the fuel was being sold and supplied to customers.
The officials checked whether customers were receiving the correct quantity of petrol and whether proper standards and procedures were being followed at the fuel station. They also advised the petrol pump employees to always provide customers with the exact quantity of fuel they pay for and to ensure complete transparency in their services.
The officials further cautioned the staff against engaging in any kind of malpractice or cheating and emphasized the importance of maintaining honesty and fairness while dealing with customers. The inspection was aimed at protecting consumer interests and ensuring that petrol pumps comply with the prescribed standards of weights, measurements, and fuel distribution.
