Bhubaneswar, June 6:: Due to the severe summer conditions, a shortage of blood has been observed in almost all blood banks across Odisha. During this time, the Odisha Blood Donors Federation organized a blood donation camp at the Ruchika Market Baramunda Sarbajanin Durga Puja Mandap.
The camp received overwhelming support from local market traders and the general public, resulting in the collection of 31 units of blood. The camp was conducted under the supervision of president Akshaya Kumar Raut.
Trilochan Das encouraged the blood donors and stated that steps would be taken to organize similar blood donation camps across the state in the coming days.
