Collector Chairs Quarterly Task Force Meeting in Koraput, Emphasising Effective Implementation and Monitoring of District-Level Programmes

Koraput ,Aug 11 [UDN}: A district-level first quarterly Task Force meeting under the theme “A Day for Children” was held today in Koraput district under the chairmanship of the Koraput District Collector. The meeting focused on reviewing and strengthening various measures aimed at ensuring the protection, welfare, development, education, health, and overall well-being of children across the district.

The meeting provided an important platform for reviewing the implementation and progress of child-centric programmes and initiatives at the district level. Discussions were centered on strengthening coordination among different departments and agencies working for children and ensuring that government schemes and welfare measures reach eligible children effectively.

The Task Force meeting also emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to protect children from various forms of vulnerability, ensure their rights and safety, and create a supportive environment for their healthy growth and development. Officials were urged to remain proactive in identifying challenges faced by children and to take timely steps to address such issues.

The “A Day for Children” initiative seeks to place greater emphasis on child welfare and encourage all concerned stakeholders to work collectively towards creating a safe, healthy, inclusive, and child-friendly environment. The meeting reiterated the importance of effective implementation of child protection mechanisms and continuous monitoring of programmes designed for the benefit of children.

The quarterly review was also aimed at assessing the progress of ongoing activities, identifying gaps in implementation, and formulating appropriate strategies for further improvement.
