Bhubaneswar, July 30 UDN}: A BLA-2 training programme was held today in the Jeypore Assembly Constituency of Koraput district. Keeping the rainy weather conditions in mind, the training sessions were organised at two different locations—at Borigumma at 3:00 PM and at Jeypore at 5:00 PM.
On behalf of the Pradesh Congress Committee, AICC Tribal Coordinator Ms. Harabati Gond attended the programmes as an observer and provided detailed information and guidance regarding Form No. 8 and the related electoral procedures.
BLA-1 Mr. Bhagaban Bahinipati, Koraput District Congress Committee President Mr. Rupak Turuk, and former MLA Mr. Nimai Sarkar also participated in both programmes. The presidents of the Congress units of Borigumma, Jeypore, Jeypore Sadar, and Boipariguda were also present at the training sessions.
The programme focused on strengthening the party’s booth-level organisation and ensuring that the BLA-2 representatives are well informed about the electoral roll revision process and the necessary procedures related to Form No. 8.
