Koraput, Sept 26 [UDN}:Koraput District Collector and District Magistrate Manoj Satyavan Mahajan today visited several flood-affected areas of Kotpad block to assess the situation on the ground. During the visit, the Collector directly interacted with affected residents in nearby villages and discussed the difficulties they were facing due to the flooding.
He reviewed the relief arrangements and directed the concerned officials to ensure timely distribution of relief materials to affected families. Particular attention was also given to ensuring adequate availability and supply of safe drinking water in the affected areas.
The district administration said that necessary measures are being taken to provide assistance to people impacted by the flood and to closely monitor the situation in vulnerable areas.
