Flood Situation Reviewed in Keonjhar as Minister Rabi Naik Assesses Damage and Directs Authorities to Expedite Restoration and Relief Measures

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 8 [UDN}:  Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water and Rural Development Minister Shri Rabi Naik conducted a detailed review of the flood damage assessment and restoration activities in Keonjhar district.
During the review meeting, the Minister emphasized that providing timely support and essential assistance to flood-affected people must remain the top priority until the situation returns completely to normal. He directed officials to ensure effective coordination, speedy restoration of damaged infrastructure, and uninterrupted delivery of relief services to the affected communities.
Shri Naik instructed the district administration and concerned departments to closely monitor the ground situation, assess the extent of losses, and take necessary steps for rehabilitation and recovery work. He highlighted the importance of a people-centric approach to ensure that no affected family is deprived of immediate support during the recovery period.
The Minister also stressed the need for expediting repair and restoration of public facilities, including rural infrastructure, drinking water systems, and other essential services impacted by the floods. He urged officials to remain alert and continue working with dedication until normalcy is fully restored across the affected areas.
