Grand Stage Ready at KIIT for 61st Femina Miss India Finale in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, April 18(BNP): Preparations for the 61st Femina Miss India Grand Finale at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) have reached their final stage, with the campus set to host one of the biggest editions of the prestigious pageant.

The KIIT Cricket Stadium has been transformed into a grand venue with elaborate arrangements and aesthetic decorations. Organisers said this year’s event is expected to be the largest and most spectacular in the pageant’s 61-year history.

A total of around 15,000 attendees from across Odisha and other parts of the country are expected to witness the event. This includes nearly 7,000 invited guests, along with approximately 8,000 KIIT employees and students.

All nine members of the distinguished jury panel have arrived in Bhubaneswar. The panel includes noted personalities such as Madhur Bhandarkar, Zeenat Aman, Neha Dhupia, Terence Lewis, Amaal Malik, Simran, Celina Jaitley, Dutee Chand, and Vartika Singh.

Several prominent celebrities from the Indian entertainment industry have also reached the city to be part of the grand evening. The event will be hosted by popular presenters Manish Paul and Sarah Jane Dias. Performances by Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter, acclaimed singer Zubin Nautiyal, and dancer-actress Lauren Gottlieb, among others, are expected to add glamour to the occasion.

KIIT and KISS founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta has personally overseen the arrangements, ensuring inclusive participation and a grand experience for all attendees. The event will also showcase Odisha’s rich cultural heritage, with classical Odissi dance performances by eminent dancer Shashwat Joshi and his troupe, dedicated to Lord Jagannath. Cultural programmes featuring Ollywood artists have also been lined up.

Senior officials of The Times Group, including Managing Director Vineet Jain and CEO Rohit Gopakumar, have arrived in Bhubaneswar to attend the event.

The programme is scheduled to commence at 6:45 PM, with cultural performances, including Odissi dance and Ollywood acts, taking place between 6:45 PM and 7:45 PM. The grand finale of Femina Miss India 2026 will follow, running from 7:45 PM to 11:30 PM.

The event is expected to be a landmark moment for Odisha, highlighting its growing stature as a host for major national events.
