Malkangiri , Aug 8 [UDN}: IAS officer Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke has created history by becoming the youngest District Collector of Odisha. Rajeshirke has been appointed as the District Collector of Malkangiri, making him the youngest person to hold the prestigious administrative post in the state.
Born in 1996, Rajeshirke is a 2021-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre. At a young age, he has achieved a significant milestone in his administrative career by taking charge of a district as a Collector.
His appointment has drawn attention across Odisha, as it reflects the growing role of young civil servants in district administration. As the Malkangiri Collector, Rajeshirke will be responsible for implementing government welfare schemes, strengthening development initiatives, improving public service delivery, and addressing the challenges faced by the district.
