Puri , July 24 UDN}: The Puri–Harishankar bus service has been officially launched today by the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC). The service was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha and Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment and Energy, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo.
Through this new bus service, travel between Puri, Nayagarh, Balangir, and Harishankar will become safer, easier, and more comfortable for passengers. The introduction of this route is expected to further strengthen regional connectivity across the state while ensuring better transportation facilities for pilgrims, tourists, and travelers visiting these important religious and tourist destinations.
The new bus service will also contribute to the promotion of religious tourism in Odisha by providing convenient and reliable public transport connectivity between major pilgrimage and tourist destinations. This initiative is expected to make travel more accessible for devotees and tourists and further enhance the overall transportation network of the state.
