Major Infrastructure Boost for Khordha and Bhubaneswar as New Bridge to Come Up Over Gangua Drain, Improving Connectivity for Local Residents

Khordha , Sept 11 [UDN}:In a major infrastructure boost for the residents of Khordha and Bhubaneswar, administrative approval has been granted for the construction of a new bridge over the Gangua drain.

The Public Works Department (PWD) has approved the project at an estimated cost of ₹24 crore 91 lakh 42 thousand. The proposed bridge will be constructed over the Gangua embankment, providing an important connectivity link between NH-316 and Kapileswar.

The new bridge is expected to significantly improve transportation and make daily commuting easier for residents of the surrounding areas. It will provide a more convenient and efficient route for vehicles and local commuters, while also strengthening connectivity between important parts of the region.

The project is being viewed as an important step toward improving the area’s road infrastructure and transportation network. Once completed, the bridge is expected to enhance accessibility, reduce travel-related difficulties and support smoother movement of people and vehicles.
