Nabarangpur Reviews Work on Modern Atal Bus Terminal, With Focus on Timely Completion, Quality Construction and Improved Passenger Facilities

Nabarangpur, Aug 14 [UDN}:  A state-of-the-art ‘A-Type’ Atal Bus Terminal is being constructed in Nabarangpur at an estimated cost of ₹50 crore, replacing the old bus stand. Nabarangpur MLA Gourishankar Majhi visited the construction site on Friday morning and reviewed the progress of the project.
The new terminal is being developed with the objective of providing better passenger services and modernising the city’s transportation infrastructure. It will feature spacious waiting areas, clean drinking water, toilets, parking facilities, ticket counters and other modern amenities. Dedicated facilities will also be provided for bus drivers, conductors, helpers and other staff associated with bus operations.
A total of 93 commercial stalls and shop spaces are being constructed within the terminal complex. These shops will be rented out, creating opportunities for local young men and women to become self-reliant and earn a livelihood.
During his visit, MLA Gourishankar Majhi said the modern bus terminal would mark a new chapter in the development of Nabarangpur city. He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for approving funds for the project. He also expressed hope that once completed, the terminal would significantly improve passenger services and give Nabarangpur city a new identity.
