Bhubaneswar, Aug 13 [UDN}:An AI, Robotics and Japan Centre of Excellence, along with a Japanese SAP Software Global Capability Centre (GCC), has been inaugurated at the NIKTAL Enterprise Services campus in Bhubaneswar. The initiative reflects Odisha’s growing technological capabilities and its emerging role in advanced technology sectors.
Odisha is rapidly emerging as a major destination for AI, robotics, semiconductors and modern digital infrastructure. The establishment of such technology-focused institutions in Bhubaneswar is expected to further strengthen the state’s technology ecosystem and promote the development of a skilled workforce.
Recently, HCLTech also signed an MoU with the Odisha government to establish a Global Technology Centre in Bhubaneswar with a workforce of around 5,000 people.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the state government is focusing on realizing the potential of emerging technologies through its AI Policy, Semiconductor Policy and GCC Policy. An Emerging Technology Centre of Excellence for AI and Industry 4.0 is already operational in Bhubaneswar.
Khordha MLA Prashant Jagdev, Inaho Digital Solutions CEO Devendra Mohant, NIKTAL CEO Jayshree Mohant and several other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
