Parida was speaking at the inauguration of a five-day training programme for the second batch of newly appointed CWC members at the State Institute for Women and Children in Bhubaneswar. A total of 58 members from 27 districts are participating in the programme, which aims to strengthen their understanding of child protection mechanisms, statutory responsibilities and welfare measures.

The Deputy CM stressed the need for sensitivity, empathy and coordinated efforts to safeguard children’s rights, dignity and well-being.
