Bhubaneswar, Sept 24 [UDN}:The Odisha Government is committed to strengthening the state’s education system and ensuring the welfare of teachers.
At a high-level meeting held at Lok Seva Bhawan on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the Ashok Tripathy Committee submitted its report on various issues concerning teachers across the state.
The committee examined the concerns of teachers working in primary, upper-primary, high schools and higher secondary schools. In preparing its recommendations, the committee held discussions with representatives of 104 teachers’ associations and considered a range of issues affecting the teaching community.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that the recommendations submitted by the committee would be examined carefully. He stated that the state government would take appropriate decisions at the earliest after due consideration of all the recommendations.
The move is aimed at addressing the concerns of teachers while further strengthening the education system across Odisha.
