Bhubaneswar, Oct 19 [UDN}:A crucial meeting of the Odisha State Cabinet is scheduled to be held this evening at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
Departmental ministers and secretaries are expected to attend the meeting, during which discussions may take place on a total of 12 agenda items. The state government may consider proposals for introducing new schemes and making amendments to existing policies and programmes.
One of the key areas of focus is expected to be proposals aimed at strengthening and advancing the implementation of Mission Shakti, the state’s women’s self-help group initiative. However, the specific decisions and proposals to be taken up at the meeting are yet to be officially confirmed.
The outcome of the Cabinet meeting is expected to provide further clarity on the government’s proposed policy measures, development initiatives and administrative decisions.
