Odisha Likely to See Mild Temperatures This May, but Coastal Areas Could Face Rising Heat Conditions

Bhubaneswar, May 05:  According to the latest forecast by the India Meteorological Department, the month of May is expected to bring a mix of relief and challenges across the country.
Overall, May may be relatively less hot compared to normal in many regions.
Due to the influence of western disturbances, there is a possibility of increased rainfall in several parts of the country.
However, some states may still experience above-normal heatwave conditions.
The IMD has predicted that rainfall during May could reach around 110Percent  of the normal levels.
Despite this, coastal Odisha is likely to experience intense heat, indicating that while some areas may get relief, others could still face uncomfortable weather conditions.
