Bhubaneswar, July 11 (UDN): The Odisha Nurses and Midwives Registration Council (ONMRC) has issued show-cause notices to 16 nursing colleges affiliated with Fakir Mohan University over delays in conducting the BSc Nursing semester examinations for the 2021–22 batch.
The Council sought explanations from the institutions regarding the delay, which affected the academic schedule and progression of students. The colleges have been directed to submit their replies within the prescribed timeframe.
The action has been taken to ensure accountability and the timely conduct of examinations. The Council stated that appropriate action will be taken after reviewing the responses submitted by the institutions.
The move underscores the state’s commitment to maintaining academic standards and protecting the interests of nursing students across Odisha.
