Officials, Police Personnel, and Members of Various Committees Participated in the Preparatory Meeting in Brajrajnagar to Ensure the Successful Celebration of the Annual Rath Yatra Festival.

JharsugudaJuly 8 {UDN}:In preparation for the upcoming sacred Rath Yatra, the Brajrajnagar Municipality organized a preparatory meeting to ensure the festival is conducted safely, smoothly, and in an orderly manner.

The meeting was attended by Municipal Chairperson Gopal Sitani, municipal councillors, officials from the police department, representatives of WATCO, TPWODL, and MCL, as well as members of the Rath Yatra committees from the Main Market, Gandhi Chowk, Laikera, and Sanjob areas.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on maintaining cleanliness across the town during the festival, ensuring an adequate supply of drinking water, carrying out necessary road repairs, strengthening electrical safety measures, managing traffic effectively, and maintaining law and order.

It was decided that all the concerned departments would work in close coordination to complete the required preparations within the stipulated time. The meeting also emphasized giving the highest priority to the safety, security, and convenience of devotees during the Rath Yatra celebrations.
