Public Safety and Traffic Regulation Take Center Stage as Nabarangpur Citizens Meet New SP Parth Kashyap

Nabarangpur, June 20: {UDN}:  The Nabarangpur District Citizens’ Committee extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Superintendent of Police (SP), Parth Kashyap, upon his joining in Nabarangpur. During the meeting, committee members held a productive discussion with the SP regarding the maintenance of law and order in the district, traffic management, and other public concerns.

The discussion was attended by Committee President Jagannath Mahapatra, Secretary Ram Prasad Patra, Co-convener Pradeep Sahu, Treasurer Srinibas Patra, and Additional Government Advocate Kishori Pattnaik. On behalf of the committee, they formally welcomed the SP and deliberated on several important civic and security issues.

Key matters discussed included strengthening peace and public order across the district, establishing dedicated traffic posts at Dasahara Pada Chhak and Mahila Mahavidyalaya Chhak to address growing traffic congestion, constructing beat houses at Collector Office Chhak and Chamuriaguda for improved policing and public safety, and repairing the non-functional CCTV cameras installed in different parts of the town.

The committee members emphasized that these measures would significantly enhance public security, improve traffic regulation, and contribute to maintaining a peaceful and orderly environment in Nabarangpur. The meeting concluded with a positive exchange of views and a shared commitment to addressing the district’s law-and-order and infrastructure-related concerns through coordinated efforts between the police administration and civil society representatives.
