Bhadrak, June 29 {UDN}: The Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign was inaugurated at the Community Health Centre, Barapada, in Bhadrak district by the District Collector.
Under the campaign, children aged 0 to 5 years will be administered polio drops. The immunization drive will continue from June 28 to June 30.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer (CDM&PHO), District Family Welfare Officer, District Public Health Officer, District Immunization Officer, and a World Health Organization (WHO) surveillance officer, along with other health officials.
The campaign aims to ensure that every eligible child receives polio drops, strengthening efforts to keep the district and the country polio-free.
