Puri ,Aug 10 [UDN}: A review meeting was held at the Special Circuit House in Puri to assess the flood situation prevailing in Puri district and to discuss the ongoing measures being taken for its management and mitigation.
During the meeting, officials reviewed the current flood conditions, the extent of damage caused in affected areas, rescue and relief operations, availability of essential supplies, and steps being implemented to provide immediate assistance to the people.
The administration discussed strengthening preparedness, ensuring proper coordination among different departments, monitoring vulnerable areas, and taking necessary preventive measures to reduce the impact of floods. Instructions were given to expedite relief activities and ensure that affected families receive timely support.
