Schools to Follow Revised Assembly Order: ‘Vande Mataram’ Will Be Sung First, Followed by the National Anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 4 [UDN}:  In a significant development regarding school morning assembly protocol, schools in Bhubaneswar will now begin their daily prayer assembly by singing ‘Vande Mataram’. After the rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’, students and staff will sing ‘Jana Gana Mana’, the National Anthem of India.

The revised sequence is intended to ensure that the morning assembly starts with the patriotic song ‘Vande Mataram’, followed by the National Anthem, ‘Jana Gana Mana’, as part of the daily routine. The move reflects an emphasis on fostering patriotism, national pride, and respect for the country’s heritage among students while maintaining the traditional observance of the National Anthem at school assemblies.
