Bhubaneswar, Oct 9 [UDN}:As part of the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Parv’, the ‘Seva Setu Camps’ have been launched across Odisha to provide doorstep assistance to beneficiaries regarding ration card-related services.
Through these camps, citizens can seek assistance with various ration card issues, including addition or deletion of family members’ names and other corrections. The services will remain available through the camps until October 30.
The camps will also create awareness among beneficiaries about their rights and entitlements under key food security programmes, including the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY), One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC), Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and the Priority Household (PHH) category.
Eligible beneficiaries can also use the camps to apply for new ration cards. The initiative is aimed at making food-security services more accessible and ensuring that eligible families receive the benefits they are entitled to without unnecessary difficulties.
As part of the initiative, a ‘Seva Setu Camp’ was organised in Dhamnagar Block of Bhadrak district, where beneficiaries were provided assistance regarding ration cards and related welfare schemes.
