Bhubaneswar, Oct 6 [UDN}:A ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’ camp and joint public grievance hearing was organised at the Kalimela Panchayat Samiti office in Malkangiri district under the chairmanship of the District Collector.
The camp was attended by the Superintendent of Police and officials from various government departments, allowing residents to directly present their grievances and seek solutions to their problems. Officials took necessary steps to address the issues raised by the public.
As part of the programme, 113 individual forest land rights pattas were distributed to eligible beneficiaries of Kalimela Tahasil. Beneficiaries were also provided assistance under various welfare measures, including medical assistance and pension-related benefits.
In addition, tricycles and walkers were distributed to persons with disabilities, aimed at supporting their mobility and facilitating greater independence.
The administration said such outreach programmes are intended to bring government services closer to people and ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive assistance and welfare benefits in a timely manner.
