Bhubaneswar, Sept 18 [UDN}:The nationwide ‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2026’ campaign will be observed across Odisha from September 17 to October 2, 2026, with a focus on promoting cleanliness, sanitation and public participation.
A meeting was held through video conferencing today under the chairmanship of the Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs to discuss preparations and the implementation of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign.
Odisha Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, Additional Chief Secretary Usha Padhee, along with senior officials of the department, participated in the meeting.
The campaign is expected to involve coordinated cleanliness and sanitation-related activities across urban areas, with emphasis on community participation and creating greater awareness about maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.
