Bhubaneswar, Aug 18 [UDN}:The Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department has intensified efforts to make the state TB-free. Extensive TB screening, X-ray camps, and awareness programmes are being conducted across Koraput, Puri, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Rayagada, Bargarh, Dhenkanal, and Mayurbhanj districts.
People are urged to remain alert to the symptoms of tuberculosis. If you have been suffering from a persistent cough or other TB-related symptoms for more than two weeks, visit the nearest government health centre without delay. Free testing and treatment facilities are available through government health services.
Early detection and timely treatment are crucial to preventing the spread of TB and helping Odisha achieve its goal of becoming TB-free.
