Borigumma: Sept 15 [UDN}:Three dedicated teachers from the Borigumma area of Koraput district have brought pride to the region by receiving the prestigious state-level ‘Sarvapalli Guru Samman-2026’ for their sincerity, dedicated service and significant contribution to the field of education.
The awardees are Basanti Dash, Manoj Kumar Bisoi and Santosh Kumar Nayak. Their commitment towards teaching, contribution to students and dedication to the education sector were recognised at the state-level felicitation ceremony.
The award ceremony was organised by the Vidyabikash Parishad, Odisha, at Satabdi Bhavan in Cuttack on September 5, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. During the programme, the three teachers were felicitated and presented with certificates of honour in recognition of their valuable services and noteworthy contributions to education.
