Jeypore,29th Oct 2025: A petition has been submitted today to the Koraput District Collector for the construction of a road in Banguda village, which comes under the Jeypore block and the Anta Gram Panchayat.
The villagers stated that the road in Banguda village has been in a very deplorable condition for a long time, causing inconvenience in transportation. Students from nearby areas depend on the village school, and the poor condition of the road has been creating obstacles for the school-going children as well.
The road in Banguda village is now in a life-threatening state. As a result, even ambulances face difficulties in reaching the village in case of health emergencies, putting the villagers at risk, the petition mentions. The locals said that during the current year’s rainy season, the road’s condition has worsened significantly.
Therefore, the villagers have requested the District Collector to repair this road as soon as possible.
