Seven New Nursing Colleges to Come Up Across Odisha, Enhancing Medical Education Infrastructure and Nursing Workforce Development

Bhubaneswar:July 1 {UDN}:  Seven more nursing colleges will be established in Odisha to strengthen healthcare education and address the growing demand for trained nursing professionals.

The Central Government will provide ₹6 crore for each nursing college, while the Odisha Government will contribute ₹4 crore per institution.

The initiative is expected to improve access to quality nursing education, create more opportunities for aspiring students, and enhance the state’s healthcare workforce.

The new colleges will also help meet the increasing demand for qualified nurses in hospitals and medical institutions across Odisha.
