2nd April 2025: In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP), Odisha is set to improve the quality of education across the state. One of the key initiatives will be the launch of Shishu Batika (child care centers) in all primary schools. These centers will focus on the early development of children, providing a strong foundation for learning from the very beginning.

Alongside this, the state will celebrate Pravesh Utsav (admission ceremony) and Khadi Chhuaan Parba (a traditional festival) in primary schools. These events will welcome students, parents, and teachers, marking the start of a child’s educational journey and fostering a deeper connection between the community and schools.

These initiatives reflect Odisha’s dedication to ensuring accessible, inclusive, and high-quality education for every child. The state’s approach aims to build a solid educational foundation, paving the way for a bright and successful future for its students.
