The forecast predicts thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds across 15 districts, including Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, and others, particularly on April 3 and 4.

The storm is expected to bring winds reaching 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, along with the possibility of thunder and rain. In response, an orange warning has been issued for these districts, urging residents to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions against potential disruptions.

As the weather system moves forward, more districts like Koraput, Rayagada, and Nabarangpur will experience similar conditions on Thursday, April 4. Strong winds and heavy rainfall are predicted, with wind speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour.

By April 5 and 6, the intensity of the rain will decrease in the southern part of the state, but lighter showers will still be possible in places like Malkangiri, Koraput, and Rayagada. Areas such as Jagatsinghpur, Puri, and Khurda may continue to face moderate rain and wind.

Authorities are advising residents to stay informed about weather updates and take safety precautions during this period of intense weather. It’s important to remain prepared for any challenges this storm may bring and stay safe during the coming days.
