New Delhi, May 17: IIM Sambalpur has become the first Indian Institute of Management to launch undergraduate programmes, introducing two four-year courses in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence and Management & Public Policy starting from the 2025 academic session.
The programmes offer a flexible exit system—students can earn a certificate after one year, a diploma after two, a degree after three, and an honours degree after four years.
The AI programme aims to build digital skills and promote ethical AI, while the Public Policy course focuses on sustainability, ESG, and grassroots development. Designed with industry input, the courses aim to prepare students for future leadership in both technology and governance.
