Art Community Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Debadatta Puhan Through Candlelight Rally Following His Untimely Passing

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 19 [UDN}:Debadatta Puhan, popularly known as Tutuna Bhai, a young art enthusiast from Tulasipur village under Gandhan Gram Panchayat of Rasulpur block. Art directors, artists and more than a hundred art lovers from the Kuakhia area took part in the rally on Monday night.
Led by theatre director Narayan Chandra Sahu, the artists gathered near Maa Tarini Temple at Kuakhia market. A condolence meeting was held there, where tributes were paid and memories of Debadatta were recalled. Later, the participants carried candles and marched through the market, raising slogans such as “Tutuna Bhai Amar Rahe” (Long Live Tutuna Bhai).
The condolence meeting was attended by theatre director Narahari Nayak, theatre artists Laxmikanta Satapathy and Satyananda SahanI, social worker Kalandi Charan Jena, Shivasundar Das, Bijay Barik, Pavitra Rath, Akshaya Mishra, Abhimanyu Mishra, Sudhakar Palei, Kishore Chandra SahanI, Shantanu Sahu and Kalandi Kar, among others.
