Bhubaneswar, July 4 (UDN): A youth was seriously injured after a group of over 15 masked miscreants allegedly entered the Buddha Vihar Apartment complex in Bhubaneswar on Friday night and created panic with sharp weapons.
The attackers reportedly assaulted Shubham Swaraj, son of the apartment secretary, Gauranga Das, who sustained severe injuries while trying to escape. He has been admitted to a hospital and is undergoing treatment.
The incident occurred around 9:30 pm and triggered panic among residents of the housing complex, which is jointly managed by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA).
Police have launched an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the accused and determine the motive behind the attack.
