Dasmantpur, Aug 27 [UDN}: A BJP Mandal-level organizational meeting was held at the Chhotaguda Kalyan Mandap under Dasmantpur Block, with a focus on strengthening the party’s organizational structure at the grassroots level.
The meeting was organized under the guidance of Mandal President Sitaram Rai. District BJP in-charge Bhavendra Kumar Panda attended the programme as the chief guest. State BJP Executive Committee member and former MLA Kailash Chandra Kulesika, District BJP Vice-Presidents Rabichandra Padhi and Rajendra Sahu, General Secretary Uday Hika, Secretary Tunku Jena, and party leaders Aravinda Bishoi and Prabhudev Muduli were also present as guests.
Presidents and secretaries of eight panchayats, along with a large number of BJP workers, participated in the organizational meeting.
Addressing the gathering, the leaders discussed preparations for the upcoming Panchayat elections and emphasized the need to further strengthen the BJP’s organizational network from the village level to the panchayat and block levels. They also stressed the importance of ensuring that various welfare and development schemes of the government reach eligible beneficiaries at the grassroots level.
Party leaders urged workers to remain actively connected with people in villages and work towards strengthening the party’s presence across the entire block.
On the occasion, Debendra Jena formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, further adding to the party’s organizational strength in the area.
