CM Majhi Invited for Rath Yatra 2026

Bhubaneswar, July 14 (UDN): The Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri, has formally invited Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to participate in the world-famous Rath Yatra 2026.

The invitation was extended during a meeting where preparations for the grand chariot festival were reviewed. CM Majhi highlighted the importance of strong coordination between the temple administration, servitors, and concerned departments to ensure the smooth and disciplined conduct of the annual festival.

The Chief Minister directed officials to make all necessary arrangements in a well-coordinated manner and ensure that the traditional rituals of Lord Jagannath are performed with proper sanctity and order.

The meeting also discussed various aspects of Rath Yatra preparations, including crowd management, coordination among departments, and maintaining the traditional practices associated with the festival.

With the state government and temple administration working together, preparations are underway for the successful organisation of Rath Yatra 2026, one of the largest and most revered religious festivals in the country.
