District Collector Holds Joint Public Hearing in Jeypore for Swift Redressal of Public Complaints

Baipariguda, May 9: A joint public grievance hearing camp was held today at the conference hall of the Jeypore Sub-Collector’s office.
The hearing was conducted under the chairmanship of Koraput District Collector Manoj Satyaban Mahajan. During the programme, a total of 67 complaints from the public were received, including 11 group grievances and 56 individual complaints.
The grievances mainly related to financial assistance, house pattas, land disputes, drinking water shortage, healthcare services, road construction, farmers’ issues, sanitation management, electricity supply, and other public concerns.
Collector Mahajan listened to the complaints seriously and directed the concerned departments to take immediate necessary steps for their early resolution.
Several district-level officials attended the grievance hearing camp, including Superintendent of Police Rohit Verma, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Benudhar Sabar, Sub-Collector Jadumani Nayak, Additional Superintendent of Police Archita Mittal, Chief District Medical Officer Dr. Rabindra Nath Mishra, ITDA Project Administrator Tripti Borei, Block Development Officer Shakti Mahapatra, Tahasildar Sabyasachi Jena, District Education Officer Prashant Kumar Mohanty, Block Education Officer Chandan Nayak, Regional Transport Officer, and Executive Engineer of the Roads and Buildings Department, Jeypore, Priyaranjan Behera, along with many other departmental officials.
