Divine Golden Appearance of Lord Jagannath and Sibling Deities Leaves Devotees Spellbound During the Sacred Religious Ceremony

Umerkote,July 31 UDN}: After returning from the Mausi Maa Temple and reaching near the Singhadwara, Lord Jagannath appeared before devotees in the traditional golden attire. In the morning, officials from the temple Endowment Department and members of the temple management committee brought the gold ornaments from the Umerkote Treasury and handed them over to the chief priest.
The Lord was then adorned with the gold ornaments, following which arrangements were made for devotees to have public darshan. According to the temple rituals, the ornaments will be removed after 10 p.m. and handed back to the government treasury, informed temple management committee secretary Prashant Sahu.
