Puri July 31 UDN}: On the occasion of the Bahuda Yatra, the organisation Manaba Seva Hi Madhaba Seva arranged free distribution of prasad and drinking water for devotees on Bada Danda in Puri. Office-bearers and members of the organisation came from different parts of Odisha to participate in the service activity.
The service began at 8:30 am and continued until 1:30 pm. Food consisting of rice, dalma and khata, along with drinking water, was arranged for around 3,500 devotees. The organisation’s president, Diptikant Mahapatra, and chairman, Chandrasekhar Satapathy, personally supervised the service activities.
The organisation’s Puri representative, Golap Dash, took full responsibility for coordinating the service programme. Secretary Gyanendriya Dash, Joint Secretary Itishree Satapathy, Coordinator Gitanjali Panda, Organisation Secretary Bijay Kumar Panda, senior advisers, and other members from various parts of Odisha also participated in the initiative.
Despite several challenges, the service programme was conducted successfully. With the support and cooperation of everyone, the organisation has been carrying out this service for the past seven years. The office-bearers and members have expressed their commitment to continuing and expanding such humanitarian activities in the future.
After the prasad distribution, all members of the organisation visited the chariots of the three deities and sought their blessings.
