Ganjam: Oct 1 [UDN}:The final electoral roll for Ganjam district has been published, with a total of 28,10,951 voters registered across the district’s 13 Assembly constituencies.
According to the final voter list, as many as 19,849 young voters in the 18–19 age group have been enrolled. The inclusion of a significant number of first-time and young electors is expected to strengthen youth participation in the electoral process.
To facilitate voting and provide greater convenience to electors, the number of polling stations in the district has also been increased substantially. The number of polling stations has risen from 3,124 to 3,975, an increase of 851 polling stations.
The District Collector expressed gratitude and appreciation to all Booth Level Officers (BLOs), officials and staff, political representatives, residents of Ganjam district and media representatives for their cooperation and contribution towards the successful preparation and publication of the final electoral roll.
