Foundation Stone Laid for Mandap in Rasulpur by Korei MLA, Residents Welcome the New Development Project

Rasulpur,Aug 10 [UDN}: An amount of ₹85 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of an advanced Kalyan Mandap at Sarangpur under Mugupal Gram Panchayat of Rasulpur block in Jajpur district. The foundation stone for the project was laid by Korei MLA Akash Dasnayak at a function organised by the Mugupal Panchayat.
The Rasulpur Panchayat Samiti has already invited tenders worth ₹56,74,608 for the first phase of the construction work. A further tender process will be initiated for the remaining ₹23,25,392, which will be utilised for facilities such as water supply, lighting and other essential arrangements. The construction work is targeted to be completed within six months.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Akash Dasnayak said that several development projects have been undertaken in the Korei Assembly constituency during the two years of the double-engine government to fulfil the long-pending demands of the people. He added that plans have been prepared to start many more new projects in the coming days.
The MLA assured that all possible support would be extended to develop Mugupal Panchayat as a model panchayat.
The meeting was presided over by BJP leader Kalandi Kanth. Zilla Parishad member Shishir Mohanty, local Sarpanch Pragyan Paramita Malik, Samiti member Narayan Sahu, BJP leader Gopinath Pati, Shashibhusan Sahu, Laxmidhar Pati, Binod Maharana, Debakanta Nayak, Ranjan Kumar Deo and others were present on the occasion and addressed the gathering.
