Jayapu, Oct 1 [UDN}: With a focus on transforming Jeypore into a greener, cleaner and more beautiful city, discussions were held between members of the Chamber of Commerce and the Municipal Executive Officer.
The meeting focused on a range of measures aimed at making the city free from plastic waste and pollution while strengthening environmental protection efforts. Participants exchanged views on creating greater awareness among residents about cleanliness and environmental conservation.
The discussions also covered measures to reduce the use of plastic, maintain cleanliness across the city and encourage greater public participation in civic and environmental initiatives.
Emphasising collective responsibility, the participants discussed the need for cooperation from traders, residents and other stakeholders to achieve the goal of building a “Green, Clean and Beautiful Jeypore.” The meeting stressed that sustained public awareness and active community participation would be crucial to improving the city’s environment and maintaining cleanliness.
