Infrastructure and Public Services Set for Boost Following Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony Led by MLA

Nabarangpur:June 20: {UDN}:  In an effort to further accelerate the development of the town, local MLA and Chairman of the District Planning Board, Gourishankar Majhi, laid the foundation stones for several public welfare projects.

On this occasion, foundation stones were laid for the construction of various community infrastructure projects, including:

A toilet facility at Shishu Batika.
A Bhagavata Tungi (community religious center) near Gayatri Temple.
A building for Om Shanti Youth Association in Harijan Sahi.
A boundary wall for the Durga Mandap in Gouda Sahi.
Construction of Maa Duara Mandeini Temple in Bhagabati Sahi.
Construction-related works at the Alekh Mahima Gadi premises.
Other community development and public utility projects.

The foundation stone-laying ceremony was attended by several dignitaries and public representatives, including Municipal Chairperson Kunu Nayak, BJP Town Mandal President Amulya Mishra, District General Secretary Debadas Mahankud, Suresh Shastri, Sanjib Nanda, Bhuban Nayak, Ashwini Das, Councillor Sarmistha Deo, Councillor M. Usharani, Councillor I. Murali Krishna, Councillor Mamata Maharana, Kishori Pattnaik, Jyoti Benya, Councillor Amit Pradhan, Councillor A. Satish, Councillor Somes, Sanjib Sahu, Bitu, various public representatives, government officials, and a large number of local residents.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Gourishankar Majhi stated that these projects would prove to be significant milestones in improving basic civic amenities and promoting the overall development of the town, keeping in view the needs of the growing population.

Local residents welcomed these development initiatives and expressed their gratitude to the MLA. He further assured the public that many more such developmental projects would be implemented in the region in the coming days to strengthen infrastructure and improve the quality of life for the people.
