International Commerce Day Marked at Rayagada Autonomous College as Students and Faculty Celebrate the Significance of Commerce Education

Rayagada:Aug 12 [UDN}:  International Commerce Day was celebrated by the Postgraduate Department of Commerce at Rayagada Autonomous College.

At the beginning of the programme, lecturer K. K. Jani welcomed the guests and briefed the gathering about the objective and significance of the event.

College Principal Dr. Saraswati Ray attended the programme as the Chief Guest and spoke about the present relevance of international commerce, India’s role in the global market, and the importance of commerce education.

Among the distinguished guests were PG Council Chairman P. Arun Kumar, Academic Bursar Ramesh Huika, Administrative Bursar Lieutenant Uday Nayak, Accounts Bursar Bhavesh Mohanty, Head of the PG Department of Commerce Dr. Lizarani Satapathy, Hemant Swain, N. Neeraja and Gadadhar Sahu.

In their respective addresses, the guests highlighted the importance of commerce education, entrepreneurship, employment opportunities and emerging trends in global trade.

On the occasion, students who excelled in various competitions were felicitated and presented with prizes by the guests.

At the end of the programme, lecturer Monalisa Panigrahi proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all the guests, faculty members, staff and students for their participation.
